She drowns the rest of the glass of wine down and reaches for another.

She pours them both another glass of wine.

“He cheated on you? God, men are such assholes aren’t they. It’s not weak to think you’d wanna try and make things work. You must’ve really loved him. I’m confused about what you mean by ‘different version’ of him. Was he a Time Lord or something?”

“Brax… Yes.. he is a Time Lord.. he is the Doctor’s brother… but  he doesn’t have a different face like what would happen after changing.. although he does look a little younger than the Brax I work for. Why does he have to be so cute?”

“I always end up attracted to the wrong guys it happens every time.. What is wrong with me?”

“Yeah I used to go for the ‘bad boy’ type, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you, Bernice.”

“Why do they have be so cute and making us drawn to them.” Benny pulled a face.  “They have a lot to answer for.”

“Yeah, I know! I don’t like feeling like I’m not in control of my feelings, but that’s how it usually goes in relationships. Well, the good ones anyway.”
